Product Description

The HERTEL 750540 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and other hard materials. With a 7/64 inch (0.1094 inch) cutting diameter and four spiral flutes ground at a 30-degree helix angle, this end mill delivers clean, efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. The TiN (titanium nitride) coating increases surface hardness and extends tool life in abrasive cutting conditions. A 3/8 inch length of cut and 1/8 inch shank diameter make it well suited for tight-clearance work. It is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians using CNC machining centers or manual milling machines.

This end mill is suited for light-to-medium milling applications where a small-diameter, high-precision tool is required. The centercutting design allows plunge cutting in addition to peripheral and slot milling. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration are standard for conventional CNC and manual mill setups. Installation Notes
