The HERTEL 750539 is a 3-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in metalworking and machining applications. It measures 5/32 inch (0.1563 inches) in diameter with a 9/16 inch (0.5625 inches) length of cut and a 2 inch overall length. The 3/16 inch shank diameter provides a secure tool holder interface. Manufactured from micrograin solid carbide and finished with an AlTiN coating, this end mill handles demanding cutting conditions at elevated temperatures. The 30-degree helix angle and centercutting geometry allow both plunge and peripheral milling operations. Right-hand cut direction is standard. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
The HERTEL 750539 suits small-feature milling work including slots, pockets, and profiling cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Its micrograin carbide substrate and AlTiN finish make it suitable for dry or near-dry cutting in hardened steels, stainless, and high-temperature alloys where heat resistance is a priority. The compact 5/32 inch diameter targets tight-tolerance features common in mold making, die work, and precision component machining. Single-end configuration means the tool is replaced rather than indexed when worn.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement end mill for any tool holder accepting a 3/16 inch round shank, including collet chucks, end mill holders, and shrink-fit holders used on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Always confirm the tool holder bore matches the 3/16 inch shank diameter before securing. De-energize and lock out the spindle drive before loading or removing tooling. Torque collet nuts to the holder manufacturer specification and verify tool runout with a dial indicator before production cutting.
