The HERTEL 750333 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication and machining environments. Built with 4 spiral flutes and a 30-degree helix angle, it delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action across a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The titanium nitride (TiN) coating increases surface hardness and reduces friction at the cutting edge, extending tool life in production settings. This end mill measures 9/16 inch in diameter with a 1-1/4 inch length of cut and a 3-1/2 inch overall length. It is centercutting capable, allowing plunge entry, and features right-hand cut with right-hand flute orientation. Installed by machinists and toolroom technicians on CNC mills and manual knee mills alike.
This end mill is suited for slot milling, profiling, and peripheral milling in job shop and production machining environments. The 9/16 inch shank diameter matches standard ER and end mill holders common to most machining centers. The solid carbide construction provides rigidity and dimensional stability under high feed rates and elevated cutting temperatures. The TiN finish makes it a practical choice for cutting mild steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and similar materials where a cost-effective coated carbide tool is appropriate.
Designed as a standard-shank replacement end mill for CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual knee mills accepting 9/16 inch end mill holders or ER collet systems.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the holder and torque the retention fastener per the holder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before use, and verify runout with a dial indicator when tight tolerances are required.
