The HERTEL 750323 is a 4-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it offers the rigidity and edge retention required for ferrous and non-ferrous material removal. The 3/16 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 1 inch length of cut and 2 inch overall length, making it well suited for shallow-to-moderate depth slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation while reducing cutting forces. The uncoated finish is standard for applications where coating is applied separately or not required.
This end mill fits standard CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines accepting a 3/16 inch shank. It is appropriate for job shops, tool and die operations, and production machining environments handling small-diameter work. The right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute configuration are the conventional setup for most vertical milling operations. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece without a pre-drilled hole.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide square end mill for standard 3/16 inch collet or end mill holder systems on vertical milling machines and CNC machining centers.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque to the machine tool manufacturer's specification — do not estimate. Verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is locked out before tool changes.
