The HERTEL 750208 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 0.75 inch cutting diameter and a 1.5 inch length of cut, this tool delivers consistent material removal in ferrous and non-ferrous applications. The 30-degree spiral helix geometry promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. A titanium nitride (TiN) finish increases surface hardness and extends tool life under demanding conditions. This end mill is sized for use in machining centers, knee mills, and CNC milling equipment and is typically installed and operated by machinists and toolroom professionals.
This end mill is well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations in production and job-shop environments. The 4-flute configuration provides a good balance between chip clearance and surface finish quality, making it appropriate for both roughing and light finishing passes in steel, cast iron, aluminum, and similar materials. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece without pre-drilling. The 0.75 inch shank diameter fits standard ER, end mill holders, and collet chucks used across common milling setups.
Designed for use in standard end mill holders, ER collet chucks, and milling chucks accepting a 0.75 inch shank diameter. Suitable for CNC machining centers and manual knee mills configured for carbide tooling.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with milling tool setup and speeds-and-feeds selection. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and undamaged before mounting. Torque the tool holder to the machine manufacturer's specification using appropriate tooling wrenches. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts, as excessive runout accelerates carbide wear and can cause premature tool failure.
