The HERTEL 750154 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 13/64 inch (0.2031 inch) cutting diameter and a 30-degree helix angle, it delivers efficient chip evacuation and clean sidewall finishes in a variety of machining operations. The four-flute, right-hand spiral configuration provides rigidity and a stable cut across a 5/8 inch length of cut. Micrograin carbide construction gives the tool durability and edge retention under demanding cutting conditions. This end mill ships in an uncoated bright finish and is intended for use by machinists and tooling professionals in CNC and manual milling applications.
This end mill is suited for light to moderate material removal in ferrous metals, aluminum, and similar workpiece materials where a small-diameter, tight-tolerance tool is required. The 1/4 inch shank diameter fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found on vertical machining centers, knee mills, and CNC milling machines. The single-end, centercutting design allows plunge entry as well as conventional and climb milling passes.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling option for any milling setup accepting a 1/4 inch shank end mill with a 2-1/2 inch overall length.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Secure the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Verify runout with a dial indicator after installation to confirm proper seating and minimize premature edge wear.
