The HERTEL 72013303 is a straight-flute chucking reamer designed to finish-ream drilled holes to a precise 0.1330-inch diameter. Manufactured from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright, uncoated finish, this reamer delivers accurate sizing in ferrous and non-ferrous materials across production and maintenance machining environments. The straight-cylindrical shank seats directly in standard drill chucks or collets, and the 4-flute geometry provides a stable cutting action with consistent surface finish. Overall length is 3.5 inches with a flute length of 0.875 inches. At 0.15 pounds, it is well suited for bench drill press or CNC drilling center use.
This chucking reamer is used in machine shop, toolroom, and light manufacturing settings where hole finish and dimensional accuracy are required after a pilot drill operation. The 0.1330-inch diameter falls within the 0.1000 to 0.1499 inch reamer diameter range and is appropriate for small-diameter through-holes and blind holes in fixtures, jigs, and production parts. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional spindle rotation. Installation is performed by machinists and toolroom technicians working with drill presses, lathes, and machining centers.
Designed as an OEM-style chucking reamer for use in standard drill chucks and collet holders accepting a straight-cylindrical shank in the 0.1000 to 0.1499 inch diameter class.
This reamer is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians in drill presses, lathes, or CNC machining centers. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank firmly in a drill chuck or collet before use, and verify spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and hole diameter. Always pilot-drill to the correct pre-ream diameter before using the chucking reamer to avoid overloading the flutes. Apply a suitable cutting fluid during reaming operations to extend tool life and improve hole finish.
