The HERTEL 62913918 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a TiAlN coating, it handles tough ferrous and stainless materials at elevated cutting temperatures. The 7/8 inch (0.8750 inch) cutting diameter pairs with a 3/4 inch shank diameter and a 1-7/8 inch length of cut, giving machinists a rigid, capable tool for hogging operations. With five flutes in a fine-pitch spiral configuration, this mill produces a corrugated chip-breaking cut that reduces cutting forces and heat buildup. It is installed and operated by CNC machinists and manual mill operators in job shop and production environments.

Installation Notes
