The HERTEL 62850169 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it carries a TiAlN coating that improves heat resistance and extends tool life in ferrous materials. The cutter measures 0.625 inches in diameter with a 2.5-inch length of cut and a 4-5/8-inch overall length. Four right-hand spiral flutes in a fine-pitch configuration reduce chatter and allow efficient chip evacuation during roughing passes. Center-cutting geometry permits both plunge and peripheral cutting operations.

This end mill is suited for roughing operations on steel, stainless steel, and other ferrous alloys in job shop, tool room, and production machining environments.
