The HERTEL 41120650 is a single-end cobalt roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and coated with TiCN for added wear resistance and heat tolerance, this tool handles tough ferrous and non-ferrous materials with a coarse pitch flute geometry that clears chips efficiently. The 5/8 inch diameter, four-flute configuration delivers the rigidity and cutting action needed for roughing passes in manual mills and CNC machining centers. Center-cutting capability allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole.

This end mill suits job shops, maintenance shops, and production environments where roughing cuts on steel, stainless, and alloy materials are routine. Installation Notes

Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use. TiCN-coated tools should not be reground without removing the coating first, as partial coating on a reground edge accelerates uneven wear.
