The HERTEL 41120627 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers the heat and wear resistance needed for harder workpiece materials. The 1/2 inch diameter cutter carries a TiCN coating that further extends tool life by reducing friction and surface adhesion. Four coarse-pitch flutes channel chips away efficiently, and the center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as peripheral milling. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working with CNC mills, manual knee mills, and machining centers.

This roughing end mill is suited for ferrous and non-ferrous stock removal passes where a fine finish is secondary to cycle time and metal removal rate. The regular-length geometry keeps the 1/2 inch shank compatible with standard ER and end mill collet chucks.
