It accepts two HPMT074006-GP inserts and produces a 1-inch (25.40 mm) diameter bore to a maximum depth of 2 inches (50.80 mm), giving a 2xD depth-to-diameter ratio. The straight cylindrical shank measures 1.25 inches in diameter, making it compatible with standard toolholders and drill chucks in that bore size. Right-hand cutting direction is standard. This drill is used by machinists and toolroom professionals on CNC machining centers and manual lathes where indexable tooling is preferred over brazed or solid carbide alternatives.
