The HERTEL 30207600 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and high-accuracy machining applications. Ground to a No. 48 wire size with a decimal diameter of 0.076 inches (1.93 mm), it features a 130-degree drill point angle suited for clean entry in hard, thin, and layered materials. The fast spiral geometry with a 35-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation. The bright polished finish reduces friction and helps extend tool life. This bit is installed by CNC machine operators, PCB fabricators, and precision machining technicians.
This drill bit is applied in circuit board drilling operations where tight diameter tolerances are critical. The diameter tolerance of -0.0003 to +0.0000 inches makes it appropriate for applications requiring consistent hole size in multilayer PCB stacks. Beyond PCB work, the solid carbide construction and material application range support use in alloy steel, carbon steel, cast iron, high temperature alloy, stainless steel, and titanium workpieces where a small-diameter, high-rigidity tool is needed.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machine operators with the spindle fully stopped and machine controls locked out. Ensure the 0.125 inch shank is properly seated and clamped in the collet or chuck to the machine manufacturer's specified engagement depth before operation. Inspect the cutting edge for chips or wear before each use, as carbide tooling is brittle and can fracture if damaged edges are run under load. Follow applicable shop safety standards and machine operating procedures for small-diameter carbide tooling.
