The HERTEL 30206350 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and high-accuracy machining applications. It carries a No. 52 wire gauge size with a decimal diameter of 0.0635 inches (1.61 mm) and is ground to a 130-degree drill point angle for clean entry and minimal breakout. The fast spiral geometry with a 35-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation in deep or tight bores. At 1-1/2 inches overall length with a 3/8-inch flute length and a 1/8-inch shank diameter, this bit is sized for use in standard PCB drilling spindles and precision drill presses. Right-hand cutting direction. Bright polished finish.
This drill bit is suited for drilling through printed circuit boards, thin sheet metals, and other precision substrates requiring tight hole tolerances. The solid carbide construction and tapered web configuration make it appropriate for production environments handling alloy steel, carbon steel, cast iron, high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, and titanium. Machinists and electronics manufacturing technicians working with CNC drill presses or benchtop PCB drilling equipment will find this bit a direct fit for fine-hole work where diameter tolerance is critical. The diameter tolerance of -0.0003 to +0.0000 inches ensures consistent hole quality across production runs.
Designed for use in PCB drilling spindles and precision drill presses accepting a 1/8-inch round shank. Rated for drilling alloy steel, carbon steel, cast iron, high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, and titanium.
Installation and use of this bit should be performed by a qualified machinist or electronics manufacturing technician familiar with precision drilling equipment. Ensure the drill press or CNC spindle is fully powered down and locked out before changing bits. Verify shank seating and collet torque before operation. Do not exceed the spindle speed and feed rate specifications recommended for solid carbide bits at this diameter, as carbide is brittle and susceptible to breakage under lateral loading or excessive runout.
