Built to No. 62 wire gauge size, it measures 0.0380 inches (0.97 mm) in diameter with a 1/8-inch shank diameter and a 1-1/2-inch overall length. The 130-degree drill point angle and fast spiral geometry promote clean entry and efficient chip evacuation in small-diameter, high-precision drilling. A tapered web configuration adds rigidity at the cutting edge, reducing deflection in fine-diameter work. The bright polished finish minimizes friction and helps maintain dimensional accuracy across production runs. Power down and de-energize the spindle completely before changing bits. Avoid using this bit in hand-held drilling applications where axis control cannot be maintained.
