The HERTEL 2500498 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and finished with a TiN coating, this tool delivers the wear resistance and edge retention needed for production cutting environments. The 1/4 inch diameter, 4-flute chipbreaker geometry breaks chips into shorter segments, reducing heat buildup and improving evacuation during high-feed passes. At 1.125 inches length of cut and 3 inches overall length, it fits standard toolholders used on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for this configuration.

This end mill is suited for roughing operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in both job shop and production environments.
