The HERTEL 2500491 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride), this tool delivers hardness and heat resistance suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The 3/16 inch diameter, 4-flute chipbreaker geometry breaks chips into smaller segments, reducing cutting forces and improving evacuation in deep cuts. With a right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute spiral, it is center-cutting capable, allowing plunge entry. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in production and job shop environments.

This end mill is suited for slot milling, profiling, and roughing passes on materials including steel, stainless steel, and cast iron where chip control is critical.
