The HERTEL 18324 is a single-body countersink designed for producing clean, accurately angled seat profiles in metal and similar materials. Built from high speed steel, it delivers consistent cutting performance across repeated use in production and maintenance environments. The 82-degree included angle matches the standard seating geometry for flat-head fasteners commonly used in aerospace, metalworking, and general fabrication. With six flutes, the tool distributes cutting load evenly, reduces chatter, and produces a smooth finish on the countersunk surface. The 3/4-inch head diameter and 3/4-inch straight cylindrical shank allow straightforward mounting in standard drill presses, CNC machining centers, or hand-held power tools with compatible chuck capacity.
