The HELLERMANNTYTON THCO1 is a horizontal cable manager with integrated rings designed to organize and route patch cables, structured cabling runs, and low-voltage wiring in rack-mounted installations. It mounts in a standard equipment rack and keeps cable bundles dressed, separated, and protected from sharp bends that can degrade signal performance. Electricians and low-voltage cabling technicians install this type of unit as part of a complete patch panel and switch layout to maintain clean, serviceable wiring paths in telecommunications rooms, server closets, and data distribution points.
The THCO1 is suited for horizontal cable management duties in both residential structured wiring panels and commercial rack installations. It is typically positioned above or below patch panels and network switches to guide Category-rated copper patch cables and fiber jumpers without exceeding minimum bend radius requirements. Sold as a single unit per order.
Designed as an OEM-style horizontal cable manager compatible with standard rack-mount enclosures used in structured cabling and network distribution installations.
Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage cabling technicians or electricians familiar with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Power down any active rack equipment as needed before routing cables through the manager rings. Avoid overtightening cable ties against managed bundles to prevent jacket deformation and signal degradation. Follow local codes and manufacturer rack-loading guidelines when positioning this unit relative to patch panels and active equipment.
