The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 83262 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for demanding metal removal in stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hardened steel. It features a 0.5 inch mill diameter, a 1.25 inch length of cut, and a 0.0150 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in tough materials. The 4-flute, variable-pitch geometry helps suppress chatter and supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. A Tplus PVD coating provides thermal and wear resistance suited to high-temperature alloy applications. Licensed machinists and CNC setup technicians are the primary users of this tool in precision machining environments.
This end mill is built for use in CNC machining centers cutting stainless steel, high-temperature alloys such as Inconel and titanium, and hardened steels. It is well-suited to mold, die, aerospace, and medical component work where tight tolerances and surface finish consistency are required. Secondary workpiece material compatibility includes carbon and alloy steel as well as cast iron. The straight cylindrical shank and 3 inch overall length make it compatible with high-precision toolholders as specified by the manufacturer.
Designed for use with high-precision toolholders as specified by the manufacturer. Primary workpiece materials are stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium (ISO material codes M, S, H). Secondary workpiece materials are steel and cast iron (ISO codes P, K). Part of the HELICAL SOLUTIONS HSV-4 series.
This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC technicians in a machine tool spindle. Seat the straight cylindrical shank fully and evenly in a high-precision collet or toolholder before tightening to prevent runout; the specified maximum TIR is 0.0005 inch. Confirm spindle direction is right-hand before operation. Follow shop-specific feeds, speeds, and depth-of-cut protocols for the workpiece material — do not exceed the tool geometry ratings for the material group being cut.
