The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 82303 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. Built on the HSV-4 series platform, it features a 1/4 inch diameter, a 3/8 inch length of cut, and a 0.50 mm (0.0200 inch) corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge. The 4-flute, variable-pitch geometry with a right-hand spiral flute and right-hand cutting direction supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. A Tplus PVD coating improves wear resistance and thermal stability. The 2 inch overall length and straight-cylindrical 1/4 inch shank fit standard precision toolholders.

This end mill is engineered for machining stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hardened steel as primary workpiece materials, with secondary capability in steel and cast iron. The stub-length, centercutting design makes it well-suited for slotting, profiling, and pocket milling in aerospace, medical, and precision manufacturing environments. It is a single-end, non-coolant-through tool recommended for use with high precision toolholders to maximize rigidity and minimize runout.
