The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 59433 is a 7-flute corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance material removal in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. Built from solid carbide and coated with a PVD-applied APLUS coating, it delivers hardness and heat resistance suited to demanding ferrous and exotic-alloy applications. The tool measures 3/4 inches in diameter with a 2.25-inch length of cut, a 5-inch overall length, and a 0.0300-inch corner radius. The variable-index flute geometry reduces harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts. This end mill is designed for single-end, center-cutting use in production and job-shop CNC milling environments.
The 59433 is suited for roughing operations in materials including low-alloy steel, medium alloy steel, tool steel, cast iron, and titanium. Its 7-flute configuration supports high feed rates while maintaining surface integrity. The straight cylindrical shank is sized at 3/4 inches and is compatible with high-precision toolholders. Typical applications include slotting, profiling, and pocketing where corner protection and extended tool life are priorities. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in aerospace, die-and-mold, and general metalworking environments are the primary users of this series.
Part of the HEV-C-7 series. Designed for use with high-precision toolholders. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. Secondary workpiece material compatibility includes non-ferrous metals.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is locked out before changing tooling. Use a high-precision collet or hydraulic toolholder to stay within the stated TIR maximum of 0.0005 inches. Verify correct spindle direction (right-hand) and confirm feeds and speeds are appropriate for the workpiece material before initiating a cut.
