The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 59211 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in aluminum and non-ferrous metal applications. It features a 3/4 inch (0.7500 inch) mill diameter, a 2-1/4 inch (2.2500 inch) length of cut, and a 0.0300 inch corner radius with a tolerance of -0.0020 to +0.0020 inches. The 3-flute geometry and 35-degree medium helix angle support both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup. A proprietary Zplus PVD coating reduces built-up edge and extends tool life. Machinists and CNC operators install this end mill in high-precision toolholders on vertical and horizontal machining centers.
This end mill is engineered primarily for aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and is also rated for secondary use in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, high temperature alloys, and hard materials. The single-end, centercutting design allows plunge entry and full-slot milling. The straight-cylindrical shank at 3/4 inch diameter fits standard collets and shrink-fit toolholders with an h6 shank diameter tolerance. With a 5 inch overall length and coarse pitch flutes, this tool handles deep-pocket profiling and shoulder milling in production and job-shop environments alike.
Designed for use with high-precision toolholders. Primary workpiece material is aluminum and non-ferrous metal (Material Application Code: N); secondary materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, high temperature alloys, and hard materials (Codes: P, M, S, H). Part of the HELICAL SOLUTIONS H35AL-3 series.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC setup technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Seat the straight-cylindrical shank fully into the collet or toolholder and torque the retention mechanism according to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing a cut, and confirm spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and depth of cut.
