The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 59113 is a single-end, corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in aluminum and non-ferrous metals, with secondary capability in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, high-temperature alloys, and hard materials. Built from solid carbide with a Zplus PVD coating, it features a 0.5000-inch mill diameter, a 0.6250-inch length of cut, and a 0.0150-inch corner radius that reduces edge chipping and extends tool life in demanding cuts. The 35-degree medium helix promotes efficient chip evacuation, making this tool well suited to both roughing and finishing operations in a single setup. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers running production or prototype work will find this tool at home in high-precision toolholders.
The 59113 belongs to HELICAL SOLUTIONS Series H35AL-3, a stub-length line optimized for aluminum and non-ferrous machining where rigidity and surface finish are priorities. Its straight-cylindrical, 0.5000-inch shank fits standard ER and precision shrink-fit toolholders. The coarse-pitch, right-hand spiral flutes and centercutting geometry support plunge entry and full-slot milling. This tool is intended for use on CNC machining centers and high-speed milling platforms where runout control and consistent tool life matter. It is sold individually.
Designed for use with high-precision toolholders. Primary workpiece material is aluminum and non-ferrous metals. Secondary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, high-temperature alloys, and hard materials. Part of HELICAL SOLUTIONS Series H35AL-3.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. Secure the shank fully within the toolholder to the manufacturer-specified gauge line and verify runout does not exceed the 0.0003-inch TIR maximum before running. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Do not exceed the tool's rated depth of cut or engage feeds and speeds outside of the parameters established for the workpiece material and machine setup.
