The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 48376 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in aluminum and non-ferrous metals, with secondary capability in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, high-temperature alloys, and hard materials. The 0.5-inch diameter cutter features a 0.0300-inch corner radius, three flutes, and a 1.0-inch length of cut. A Zplus PVD coating improves lubricity and wear resistance in aluminum applications. Variable pitch geometry reduces harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts. This tool is installed by machinists and CNC tool-and-die professionals operating vertical and horizontal machining centers.

The 48376 is built for both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool, making it well suited to aluminum plate, billet, and extrusion work as well as secondary operations on steel and stainless. The 3.0-inch overall length and straight cylindrical shank pair with high-precision toolholders for maximum runout control. Single-end construction with a centercutting geometry allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole. Installation Notes

Confirm spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut are appropriate for the workpiece material before engaging the cut.
