The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 46356 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and secondary materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, high-temperature alloys, and hard materials. It carries a 0.5000-inch mill diameter, a 0.1250-inch corner radius, and three flutes with a variable pitch configuration. The Zplus PVD coating extends tool life in demanding cuts. At 4 inches overall length with a 2.25-inch reach, this is an extended-reach tool suited for deep-pocket and complex-contour work where standard-length end mills cannot reach. Series H40ALV-RN-3.

This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and high-precision toolholders. Its primary application is aluminum and non-ferrous metal stock removal and finishing, with extended reach capability making it well suited for aerospace, mold, and die work where floor-to-wall blends and deep cavities are common. The single-end, centercutting design allows plunge entry. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction are standard. It handles both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool, reducing changeover time on the machine.
