The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 32032 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling of steels, cast iron, and titanium. It features a 1/8 inch diameter, a 0.01 inch corner radius, and four helical flutes in a variable-pitch configuration that reduces harmonics and chatter during aggressive cuts. The reduced neck geometry extends reach to 1/2 inch while maintaining rigidity. An Aplus PVD coating improves wear resistance and heat dissipation, making this tool suitable for both roughing and finishing operations in demanding ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials. The single-end, center-cutting design accepts straight-cylindrical toolholders and is best suited for high-precision toolholding setups.
This end mill is built for machinists working in job shops, tool rooms, and precision manufacturing environments where steel and cast iron components require tight tolerances. It performs in low-alloy steel, medium alloy steel, tool steel, cast iron, and titanium applications. The variable pitch flute spacing and reduced neck profile make it well suited for deep-pocket milling, slotting, and contour operations where vibration control and tool reach are critical. It is a single-quantity, ready-to-run tool from the HELICAL SOLUTIONS HSV-RN-4 series.
Intended for use with high-precision toolholders. Rated for steel, cast iron, low-alloy steel, medium alloy steel, tool steel, and titanium workpiece materials. Part of the HELICAL SOLUTIONS HSV-RN-4 series for 4-flute corner radius variable-pitch reduced-neck end mills.
Installation is performed by machinists using a high-precision toolholder to ensure runout stays within the 0.0005 inch maximum TIR specification. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank fully within the holder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening. Confirm spindle direction is set to right-hand rotation before initiating a cut. Inspect the corner radius and cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use, particularly after machining hardened or abrasive materials.
