The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 26137 is a 7-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining applications. With a 0.2500-inch mill diameter and a 0.7500-inch length of cut, this single-end tool features a variable index geometry and a 38-degree helix angle that work together to reduce harmonics and chatter during aggressive cuts. The APLUS coating provides enhanced lubricity and heat resistance, extending tool life in abrasive ferrous materials. It is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, aerospace, and general manufacturing environments.
This end mill is optimized for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys, corresponding to ISO material codes P, M, K, and S. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard CNC machining centers and manual mills. The straight shank measures 0.2500 inches in diameter, matching standard ER collet and end mill holder tooling. The overall length of 2.5000 inches provides adequate reach for most standard-depth pocketing, slotting, and profiling operations without sacrificing rigidity.
Designed for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys (ISO material codes P, M, K, S). Part of the HELICAL SOLUTIONS End Mills for Steels 7 Flute Square Variable Pitch series. Fits any standard toolholder accepting a 0.2500-inch straight shank.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, and confirm that the no-centercutting geometry is accounted for in toolpaths — this tool is not suitable for direct plunge entry.
