The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 19075 is a 3-flute solid carbide square end mill engineered for aluminum machining applications. It features a 3/16 inch cutting diameter, a 7/32 inch length of cut, and a 45-degree helix angle that promotes chip evacuation and reduces built-up edge when cutting aluminum alloys. The reduced neck design extends reach to 3/4 inch, allowing access to deeper features without sacrificing rigidity. The bright uncoated finish is well-suited for non-ferrous materials where coating adhesion or heat buildup can cause issues. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops, aerospace shops, and production environments use this end mill for slotting, profiling, and pocketing operations in aluminum.
This end mill is designed for use in aluminum milling operations where chip clearance and surface finish are critical. The 45-degree right-hand helix and right-hand cutting direction provide aggressive chip lift, making it effective in both conventional and climb milling passes. The reduced neck geometry is particularly useful when machining deep pockets or stepped features where a standard-neck tool would not reach. It mounts in a straight-cylindrical shank holder and is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry where the toolpath requires it. Suitable for use on CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills equipped with appropriate collet systems.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists following shop safety procedures with the machine in a full stop and e-stop engaged. Ensure the shank is fully seated and properly torqued in the collet or holder per the toolholder manufacturer specifications before starting the spindle. Verify runout with a dial indicator after setup, as excessive runout accelerates wear and degrades surface finish. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer recommended speeds and feeds for the specific aluminum alloy and operation type.
