The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 19030 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance aluminum machining. It features a 1/8 inch diameter, a 45-degree helix angle, and a 3-flute configuration that promotes efficient chip evacuation in non-ferrous materials. The reduced neck geometry extends reach to 0.75 inches while maintaining rigidity in the cut. Overall length is 3 inches with a 5/32 inch length of cut. This end mill is part of the HELICAL SOLUTIONS End Mills for Aluminum series with a 3-flute, square profile and 45-degree helix. It is suited for slotting, profiling, and pocketing operations in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials. The reduced neck design allows access to deeper features without sacrificing cutting stability. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 1/8 inch diameter fits standard ER collets and end mill holders commonly used on VMCs, HMCs, and CNC routers.

Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque to the holder manufacturer's specification. Confirm spindle direction is set to right-hand rotation before engaging the cut. Inspect the tool and holder for runout before beginning a production run, as excessive runout will accelerate wear on small-diameter carbide tools.
