The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 06153 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for precision chamfering and deburring operations on metal and hard materials. With a 3/8-inch cutting diameter and 4-flute geometry, it delivers clean, consistent chamfer angles in a single pass. The 90-degree included angle makes it well-suited for standard edge preparation work. An Aplus coating improves wear resistance and reduces heat buildup during high-speed cutting. Overall length is 2.5 inches, and the 3/16-inch length of cut keeps the effective cutting zone compact for controlled engagement. This tool is installed by machinists and CNC operators working in job shop and production environments.
This chamfer mill is used in milling operations on machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills. Typical applications include edge breaking, countersinking, and chamfer profile generation on steel, aluminum, stainless, and other machinable metals. Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC operator. Secure the 3/8-inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder and confirm runout before cutting. Power down the spindle completely before changing or inspecting the tool. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines for speeds and feeds when engaging carbide tooling in the workpiece material.
