The HEIL hva924gka is a 2-ton, 19 SEER split-system air conditioner from the HVA9 Series Deluxe 19 line, designed for high-efficiency residential cooling applications. It delivers 24,000 BTU/h of cooling capacity through a variable-speed rotary compressor paired with an ECM motor, enabling five-stage operation for precise comfort control and reduced energy consumption. The unit runs on 208-230 volts, single phase, 60 Hz and draws 13.5 amps at rated load. A baked-on powder-coated and galvanized steel cabinet in gray provides corrosion resistance for outdoor installation. It integrates with the Observer communicating control system for advanced diagnostics and zoning capability. Licensed HVAC technicians perform this type of installation.
The hva924gka is intended for residential split-system installations where high SEER performance and multi-stage capacity are required. Its 19 SEER and 13 EER ratings make it suitable for markets with stringent energy-efficiency requirements. The Observer communicating control system interface allows integration with compatible communicating air handlers and thermostats for coordinated, variable-speed system operation. The unit moves up to 2,500 CFM and operates at a sound level of 56 to 67 dBA, making it appropriate for installations where noise is a consideration. Sweat connections are used for refrigerant line hookup.
Designed for use as part of the HEIL HVA9 Series split-system configuration, intended to pair with compatible communicating air handlers and thermostats that support the Observer communicating control system.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the equipment manufacturer instructions. Disconnect all electrical power at the service disconnect before servicing or connecting refrigerant lines. Refrigerant line connections are sweat type and require proper brazing procedures and leak testing before system startup. Verify that the electrical supply matches the 208-230 volt, single-phase, 60 Hz requirement and that the branch circuit is protected with a fuse or breaker rated no greater than 20 amps.
