The HEIL h4a6s60akawa is a 5-ton, single-stage residential air conditioner condensing unit rated at 13.8-15.2 SEER2. It operates on 208-230V single-phase, 60Hz power and uses R-410A refrigerant. The unit features a Copeland Scroll compressor, a copper tube and aluminum fin coil, and a high-gloss baked-on powder coat finish over galvanized steel for durability in outdoor environments. A filter drier is supplied with every unit for field installation. Suitable for installation in North and South regions, this unit is designed for licensed HVAC technicians performing residential cooling system installations or replacements.
The h4a6s60akawa is intended for residential split-system air conditioning applications. It supports self-configuring installation capabilities when paired with an ION communicating wall control (sold separately) and includes a factory-installed outdoor temperature sensor. Text-based diagnostics are available when used with an Observer Communicating Wall Control. The coated inlet grille, SermaGard coated cabinet screws, and post-painted black coil fins provide added protection against corrosion in outdoor installations.
Designed for use with compatible HEIL split-system indoor air handler or furnace coil configurations. ION communicating wall control and Observer Communicating Wall Control compatibility is supported but those controls are not included. Suitable for installation in North and South regions only.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer installation instructions. Disconnect and lock out all power to the system before accessing the compressor compartment, control panel, or refrigerant service ports. The control panel is accessible with only two screws, and the compressor access panel provides direct service entry. Do not install in regions outside of North and South designations as specified by the manufacturer.
