The HEAT CONTROLLER MARS-ATDR10 is a dual-element, time delay fuse rated for 600 volts and 10 amps. It is designed to protect motors, transformers, and other inductive loads from overcurrent conditions by allowing temporary inrush current while clearing sustained faults. The CC-class form factor makes it suitable for use in fusible disconnect switches, control panels, and branch circuit protection applications. Licensed electricians and HVAC technicians are the primary installers of this component in commercial and residential electrical systems.
The MARS-ATDR10 is commonly used in motor control circuits, HVAC equipment, and control panel assemblies where reliable overcurrent protection is required. The CC-class fuse body fits standard Class CC fuse holders and fusible disconnects rated for that class. Its time delay characteristic makes it well suited for equipment that draws high startup current before settling to normal operating amperage, reducing nuisance trips during motor start cycles.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for Class CC time delay fuses used in motor control, HVAC control circuits, and fusible disconnect assemblies requiring a 600-volt, 10-amp rating.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before replacing a fuse. Verify the fuse holder is rated for Class CC fuses and that the replacement amp rating matches the original fuse exactly. Never substitute a higher-amp fuse to resolve a nuisance trip - diagnose the root cause first.
