The HARVEY TOOL RSB2210 is a solid carbide chucking reamer designed for precision hole finishing in tight tolerances. Built for the miniature reamer series, it carries a 0.2210 inch cutting diameter with a tight tolerance of +0.0000 to -0.0002 inches, making it well-suited for applications where bore accuracy is critical. The straight flute geometry and right-hand cutting direction produce clean, consistent finishes in a variety of materials. With a 4-inch overall length and 1-inch flute length, this reamer is sized for use in standard CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual lathes. Machinists and toolroom technicians working in precision holemaking and threading operations will find this tool appropriate for close-tolerance work.
The RSB2210 fits within the Miniature Reamers series and is suited for holemaking operations requiring wire gauge sizing, specifically a No. 2 wire gauge diameter falling in the 0.2000 to 0.2499 inch decimal range. Its uncoated bright finish makes it easy to inspect for wear. This reamer is appropriate for use in both manual and CNC setups where straight-shank tooling is standard. It is not designed for coolant-through delivery and is not configured as an over/under size or dowel pin reamer.
Designed as a miniature chucking reamer for holemaking and threading applications requiring a No. 2 wire gauge diameter; fits standard straight-shank collets and chucks on CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual lathes.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians familiar with precision holemaking procedures. Ensure the workpiece is securely fixtured and the spindle is at a complete stop before installing or removing the reamer. Use the appropriate collet or chuck sized for the straight cylindrical shank to prevent runout. Follow shop safety protocols and applicable OSHA machining guidelines when operating rotating cutting tools.
