The HARVEY TOOL 994555-C3 is a miniature corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in tight geometries and small-feature work. Built from solid carbide with an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating, it handles steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composites. The 1.4 mm cutting diameter pairs with a 0.0100 inch corner radius and a 2.10 mm length of cut, making it well suited for detailed contouring and finishing passes where edge integrity is critical. A 30-degree right-hand helix promotes chip evacuation while the four-flute, centercutting geometry supports both roughing and finishing in a single tool. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling professionals are the primary users.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and high-speed milling setups where small-diameter tooling is required. Its miniature stub configuration keeps overhang minimal and rigidity high, which is especially important when working in hardened steels or stainless grades where chatter and deflection drive scrapped parts. The straight cylindrical shank at 0.1250 inches (1/8 inch) fits standard collet toolholders. Applications include mold and die work, medical component machining, and aerospace detail parts where tight tolerances on corner radii are specified.

Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or tooling technicians. Confirm collet size matches the 0.1250 inch shank diameter and that runout is within acceptable limits before cutting, as excessive runout at this diameter will accelerate tool wear and compromise corner radius accuracy. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and shop-standard feeds and speeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
