The HARVEY TOOL 968750-C8 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.05-inch cutting diameter and a 1.9 mm (0.075-inch) length of cut, this tool is built for fine-detail work in tight geometries. The 3-flute configuration paired with a 42-degree variable helix reduces chatter and improves chip evacuation during aggressive cuts. A titanium diboride (TiB2) coating increases surface hardness and heat resistance, extending tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This end mill is installed and operated by CNC machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This end mill suits precision milling work on CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter tooling is required. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collets and end mill holders commonly found in production and prototype shops. The single-end, right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction make it a straightforward drop-in for standard climb and conventional milling setups. It is well suited for slots, pockets, and profiling passes in aluminum, steel, and similar materials where a small-diameter, rigid carbide tool is needed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and production cutting tool for CNC machining applications requiring a 0.125-inch shank, small-diameter solid carbide square end mill.
Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or toolroom personnel. Secure the 0.125-inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder, ensuring adequate clamping depth and runout within machine specifications. Always confirm spindle is fully stopped and machine is powered down or in a safe tool-change state before handling. Avoid side-loading beyond the tool's rated length of cut, as small-diameter carbide tooling is susceptible to breakage under excessive radial pressure.
