The HARVEY TOOL 967035-C6 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 0.9 mm (0.0350 inch) cutting diameter and a 0.105-inch length of cut, this tool handles fine detail work where larger end mills cannot reach. The AlTiN coating improves heat resistance and wear life in ferrous and hardened materials. Three flutes and a variable 34-degree helix angle promote smooth chip evacuation and reduced chatter. Single-end geometry and right-hand cutting and flute direction make this a standard-orientation tool for CNC machining centers and high-speed spindle setups.
This end mill is suited for precision machining of molds, dies, medical components, aerospace parts, and other workpieces requiring fine feature detail. The 1/8-inch shank diameter allows it to run in standard collet chucks on vertical machining centers and CNC routers. The 1.5-inch overall length keeps rigidity high at this small diameter. It is centercutting, so it can be used for plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling. Machinists and CNC operators working in shops producing tight-tolerance parts will find this tool fits common small-feature toolpaths.
Designed for use in standard 1/8-inch collet chucks or end mill holders on CNC vertical machining centers, CNC routers, and high-speed spindle systems capable of running small-diameter solid carbide tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or powered-down state before loading or changing tooling. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully in the collet or holder to the recommended gauge-line depth before torquing the collet nut. At 0.9 mm diameter, this tool is fragile under side loads and runout — verify holder runout is within acceptable limits before running production cuts.
