The HARVEY TOOL 942302-C8 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metal, composite, and hard-material applications. With a 7/64 inch (0.109 inch) mill diameter and 3-flute geometry, it delivers a balance of chip evacuation and surface finish quality in tight-tolerance cuts. A variable helix design reduces harmonic vibration during the cut, improving tool life and finish consistency. The Titanium Diboride (TiB2) coating adds hardness and lubricity at the cutting edge. This is a single-end, right-hand cutting and flute-direction tool suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This end mill is suited for finish milling, slotting, and profiling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a small-diameter tool is required. The centercutting geometry allows for direct plunging as well as ramping entries. Its 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders common on vertical machining centers and CNC routers handling small-feature work. Typical applications include mold-and-die detail work, aerospace component machining, and precision part production where dimensional accuracy and edge quality are critical.
Designed for use in standard 1/8 inch collets and end mill holders on CNC vertical machining centers, CNC routers, and manual mills. Fits any spindle system accepting a 1/8 inch shank tool.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop-standard toolholding procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before loading or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended gauge-line depth before tightening. Verify runout with a dial indicator after mounting, as excessive runout on small-diameter carbide tools accelerates breakage.
