The HARVEY TOOL 941120-C3 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding shop environments. With a 1/4 inch diameter, 0.5 mm (0.0200 inch) corner radius, and 4 right-hand helical flutes at a 30-degree helix angle, this tool handles both roughing and finishing operations in a single setup. The AlTiN PVD coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life when cutting hard and abrasive materials. The stub-length geometry provides added rigidity. This is a single-end tool with a straight cylindrical shank, center-cutting capable, intended for use with a compatible toolholder in CNC machining applications.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials in professional machine shop and manufacturing environments. The stub and standard series designation makes it appropriate for applications where a shorter length of cut reduces deflection and improves surface finish. Its 3/8 inch length of cut and 2.5 inch overall length position it well for tight-tolerance finish work and general-purpose slotting and profiling on vertical machining centers and CNC mills.
Compatible with standard toolholders accepting a 1/4 inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for use on CNC vertical machining centers and milling machines. Designed for primary workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal, and composites (ISO material codes P, M, K, N, O).
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the toolholder. Confirm the shank is fully seated to the appropriate engagement depth in the collet or toolholder before tightening. Verify runout after installation to maintain dimensional tolerances, particularly given the tight corner radius specification on this tool.
