The HARVEY TOOL 937602-C3 is a miniature solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. It carries a 0.109 inch mill diameter, a 0.03 inch corner radius with a tolerance of plus or minus 0.001 inch, and an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating that extends tool life in high-heat cutting environments. With four helical flutes in a right-hand cutting direction and a center-cutting design, it handles both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers working in tight-tolerance, small-feature applications will find this tool suited to their requirements.
This end mill fits into the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series, targeting small-feature milling work on CNC machining centers and manual mills. It is appropriate for residential prototype shops, tool-and-die operations, and production facilities cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, composites, and non-ferrous materials. The stub-to-standard length configuration keeps deflection low when reaching into pockets or profiling edges with tight radii. The straight cylindrical shank seats directly into standard collets and toolholders.
Compatible with standard collet-style toolholders and cylindrical-bore end mill holders accepting a 0.125 inch (1/8 inch) shank diameter. Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills where miniature end mill tooling is required.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or powered-down state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder to the recommended engagement depth before torquing the retention mechanism. Verify runout at the cutting diameter with a dial indicator before committing to a production cut, as runout directly affects corner radius accuracy and tool life.
