The HARVEY TOOL 937110-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 5/32 inch (0.1562 inch) cutting diameter and three right-hand flutes, it removes material efficiently while maintaining tight tolerances. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation, and the AlTiN coating provides heat resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. This end mill features an extended reach configuration with a 15/16 inch reach length, making it suitable for accessing recessed features and deep-pocket milling work. It is a single-end tool weighing 0.04 pounds.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and tool-and-die work where a small-diameter, high-performance carbide tool is required. The non-centercutting design means it is intended for peripheral and side milling operations rather than direct plunge cutting. Machinists working in aerospace, mold making, and precision job-shop environments will find the AlTiN coating particularly useful when running at elevated speeds in alloy steels and stainless materials. The 3/16 inch shank diameter is compatible with standard collets and toolholders in that size range.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide square end mill compatible with standard 3/16 inch collets and toolholders used in CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Secure the shank to the specified collet or toolholder torque as recommended by the toolholder manufacturer. Verify runout after installation before beginning a cut, and confirm the non-centercutting design is accounted for in the toolpath — do not use this end mill for direct plunge entry.
