The HARVEY TOOL 925893-C8 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance milling in aluminum alloys, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and composites. The cutter measures 0.0930 inches in diameter with a 0.50 mm (0.0200 inch) corner radius and a variable helix geometry that reduces chatter and harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts. Three flutes and a TiB2 (titanium diboride) PVD coating deliver low friction, high lubricity, and extended tool life in non-ferrous and ferrous applications. The single-end, centercutting design supports both plunge and contour operations. Licensed machinists, CNC programmers, and toolroom technicians working on precision components install this tool in high-precision toolholders.
This end mill is part of HARVEY TOOL's Variable Helix End Mills for Aluminum Alloys - Corner Radius series within the Material Specific End Mills family. Its regular-length geometry and 0.4688-inch length of cut make it well suited for finishing and combined roughing-finishing passes on aluminum, cast iron, steel, stainless steel, wood, and composite workpieces. The 1/8-inch straight cylindrical shank fits standard collets and high-precision toolholders used in vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers. The corner radius profile reduces stress concentrations at part edges and extends tool life compared to a sharp-corner end mill in the same application.

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the controller is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder to the recommended grip length and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a test indicator before cutting, as excessive runout will accelerate wear on a small-diameter carbide tool.
