The HARVEY TOOL 895115 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for single-end chamfering operations in metal cutting and machining applications. With a 3/8-inch cutter head diameter and 4 flutes, it produces clean, consistent chamfers on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The bright, uncoated finish suits applications where coating interaction with the workpiece material is a concern. The tool runs in a right-hand cutting direction and features a 30-degree to 150-degree included angle, making it versatile across a range of chamfer geometries. Machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments will find this an efficient standard-duty chamfer option.
This chamfer mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills where edge preparation, deburring, and countersinking are required. With a 3/8-inch shank diameter and 2.5-inch overall length, it fits standard ER and end mill holders common in both vertical and horizontal setups. The 0.588-inch length of cut provides adequate clearance for typical chamfer depths on plate, block, and machined-component edges in general manufacturing environments.

Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down or in an e-stop state before tool changes. Use a properly sized collet or end mill holder torqued to the machine tool manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before engaging the workpiece at full feed and speed.
