Built from solid carbide and coated with AlTiN via PVD process, it delivers heat and wear resistance in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. The tool features a 0.062 inch mill diameter, a 0.5 mm (0.020 inch) corner radius, and a 4-flute helical geometry with right-hand cutting and flute direction. The extra-long flute configuration - with a 0.5625 inch length of cut and 2.5 inch overall length - extends reach into deep pockets and slots where standard-length tooling cannot access. Single-end, center-cutting design enables plunge entry.

This end mill is suited to precision finishing work in mold and die, aerospace, and medical component machining where small-diameter tooling with extended reach is required. The corner radius geometry reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, extending tool life compared to sharp-corner end mills.
