The HARVEY TOOL 854193 is a miniature corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. Machined from solid carbide, it features a 0.093-inch cutting diameter and a 0.01-inch corner radius that produces a controlled edge break on workpiece corners. The 3-flute, right-hand helical geometry supports both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. With a 30-degree helix angle and a stub-standard length-of-cut configuration, this end mill is suited for high-precision CNC work where rigidity and dimensional control are critical. It is installed and run by machinists and toolroom technicians on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is built for miniature and close-tolerance milling work across a range of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and composites. The stub-standard LOC geometry improves tool stiffness, making it appropriate for applications where deflection must be minimized. It fits standard toolholders accepting a 0.125-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Typical use cases include detail contouring, slotting, and profiling in die and mold work, medical components, and precision mechanical parts.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 0.125-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Compatible with primary workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, wood, and composites per the manufacturer material application data.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician on a properly maintained CNC or manual milling machine. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before loading or unloading the tool. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the toolholder and verify runout before beginning a cut. Miniature end mills are sensitive to excessive overhang and side loading — avoid extending the tool beyond the recommended gage length.
