The HARVEY TOOL 810362-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. With a 1/16-inch (0.0625-inch) cutting diameter and 4 flutes, it is engineered for fine-detail slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in hard or abrasive workpiece materials. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation while reducing cutting forces. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working with vertical machining centers or CNC mills.
This end mill is suited for high-precision applications where small-diameter tooling is required, such as mold and die work, aerospace component machining, and medical device manufacturing. The centercutting geometry allows the tool to plunge directly into the workpiece as well as cut along the periphery. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration are standard for conventional CNC milling setups. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and toolholders common in small-diameter end mill applications.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide square end mill suitable for use in CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills equipped with collets or toolholders accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Verify collet size matches the 1/8-inch shank diameter and that runout is within acceptable tolerance for the application before beginning a cut. Consult the machine manufacturer and tooling supplier guidelines for appropriate feeds, speeds, and depth-of-cut parameters for this diameter and material combination.
