The HARVEY TOOL 802309-C3 is a 4-flute, solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.1406-inch mill diameter and a 1.0000-inch reach length, this miniature long-reach end mill provides access to deep cavities and narrow features without sacrificing rigidity. The AlTiN coating improves heat resistance and tool life when cutting ferrous metals and high-temperature alloys. It is center-cutting and features a right-hand cut with a right-hand spiral flute configuration and a 30-degree helix angle. Machinists and CNC operators working in production or precision shop environments typically install and run this tool.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and CFRP materials. The long-reach geometry makes it well suited for deep-pocket milling, slotting, and profiling where standard-length end mills cannot reach. It belongs to Harvey Tool's Miniature End Mills - Square - Long Reach, Standard Flute series, targeting applications that require small-diameter tooling with extended reach capabilities in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 3/16-inch (0.1875-inch) straight shank. Compatible with steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and CFRP workpiece materials per Harvey Tool's published material codes P, M, K, N, and C.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank fully in a collet or end mill holder to the recommended engagement depth before running the spindle. Verify runout with an indicator before beginning a cut, as excessive runout on small-diameter end mills accelerates wear and increases breakage risk. Never exceed the manufacturer's published speed and feed parameters for the workpiece material and coating type.
