The HARVEY TOOL 787362 is a miniature corner radius end mill designed for precision finishing operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from solid carbide, it features a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) cutting diameter, a 0.01 inch corner radius, and four right-hand helical flutes at a 30-degree helix angle. The long-flute configuration provides a 1/4 inch length of cut, with a 2-1/2 inch overall length and a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank. The bright uncoated finish suits a wide range of workpiece materials. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling specialists install and run this tool in production and job-shop environments.
This end mill is suited for finishing passes on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, aluminum, wood, and composite materials. The miniature diameter and long-flute geometry make it well matched to tight-tolerance detail work, small-radius profiling, and slot milling in confined areas. The centercutting design allows plunge entry. It is intended for use in a standard toolholder with a 1/8 inch collet or matching bore.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, aluminum, wood, and composite materials. Part of the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius Long Flute series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or spindle is locked out before mounting or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully in a clean, properly sized collet or toolholder bore and torque the retention nut according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the corner radius and cutting edges under magnification before use, as miniature carbide tools are brittle and sensitive to handling damage.
