The HARVEY TOOL 75110-C3 is a solid carbide tapered ball end mill designed for precision milling in tight-geometry and contoured-surface applications. It features a 15-degree taper angle per side, a 0.312-inch small end diameter, and a 5/32-inch nose radius, making it well suited for detailed 3D profiling, core and cavity work, and deep-pocket finishing passes. The 2-flute geometry and 12-degree helix angle support chip evacuation in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. An AlTiN coating adds heat resistance and surface hardness, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, mold making, and aerospace component production are the primary users of this tool.
The 75110-C3 is part of the Harvey Tool Runner Cutters series. It fits a 1/2-inch shank, giving it solid rigidity when held in standard end mill holders or collet chucks. The 0.486-inch length of cut and 3-inch overall length make it practical for medium-depth reaches without excessive deflection. It is appropriate for CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers running high-speed finishing programs in hardened steels, stainless alloys, titanium, and similar materials where tool geometry precision and coating durability are critical.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement in 1/2-inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit holders on CNC machining centers accepting standard shank tooling. Part of the Harvey Tool Runner Cutters series.
Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or toolroom technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or unloading the tool. Seat the shank fully in the holder to the recommended gauge-line depth and torque the set screw or collet nut per the holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, as even minor runout will affect surface finish and tool life on a tapered profile tool.
